Summary:
At high resolution, the focus shifts to the capabilities of the video card and the performance gap is negligable. It is important to have a CPU that will not hold back the rest of your system and the Pentium M seems to do a much better job than the Pentium 4, clock for clock. We wonder how well a 2.13GHz Pentium 4 would play these games - we suspect that it won't be quite as well in games such as Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half-Life 2, which can require an element of CPU power to get the best out of your video card.
